The business analysis uncovered a need to strengthen the overall business processes from order to invoice in their Movex ERP – system.. In addition to this a need to a more efficient system to handle planning and reporting of activities and operational key indicators was identified.
Teams were established to identify opportunities for process improvements and new ways of working. New procedures in relation to production stops and plan changes were developed and implemented. New and effective principles and process for budgeting and planning were developed, tested and updated in Movex in cooperation with the Movex supplier and relevant personnel. A communication and education plan covering system changes and new ways of working were developed and implemented.
The number of short term plan changes was reduced with 30 %. Average throughput time for a production order was reduced by 3 days.
