A comprehensive business analysis of the operation uncovered the need for operational cost reductions, standardized ways of working at station / outlet level and a need  for an increase of turnover rate for the car fleet.

Project description

Interviews, work shops and operational studies in the fields and at HQ defined and quantified “best practice” for main,- and support processes in the business. A task force mainly consisting of client personnel was formed. They travelled the country, helping the local units implement the new procedures and processes. A mathematical asset management model for financial planning and monitoring of the car fleet was developed and implemented.

Results

Overall transaction costs were reduced by 10 %, turnover rate for the car fleet increased by 5 %
